It was embarrassing and very embarrassing for the former Minister of National Defense to talk about such nonsense, said Prime Minister Donald Tusk, referring to the words of the head of the PiS club, Mariusz Błaszczak. He emphasized that “who governs in Poland is decided by Polish voters, and who governs in the United States is decided by American voters.”

Prime minister Donald Tusk on Thursday and Friday will be in Budapestwhere he will take part in a meeting of the European Political Community and an informal meeting of the European Council. At the conference before departure, he commented, among other things, on the election results USA and words of the former head of the Ministry of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak.

The Prime Minister said he did not really understand “the excitement of some opposition politicians and such immaturity.”

– Here, Minister Błaszczak seems to have made the most impressive statement, one that is, I would say, very non-sovereign, suggesting that events in other countries would influence who rules in Poland – he added. Tusk emphasized that “who governs in Poland is decided by Polish voters, and who governs in the United States is decided by American voters.”

– We will respect without any problem for obvious reasons and respect the democratic verdict in the United States, and sympathies and antipathies have nothing to do with it – he added.

Tusk said he “hopes that next time PiS politicians will bite their tongue before saying such nonsense.” – To be honest, when I heard what Mr. Błaszczak was saying, I thought to myself: it was worth winning the elections in Poland, if only to prevent such people from being responsible, for example, for Poland's military security. It was embarrassing and very embarrassing for the former Minister of National Defense to talk about such nonsense – said the head of government.

On Sunday, Błaszczak said on Polsat News that “he is concerned that the current government – Donald Tusk and his team – chose Kamala Harris, so after Donald Trump's victory, Donald Tusk should resign.”
