Russia is tightening military cooperation with North Korea. NATO Statement

Allies stressed that deepening military cooperation between Russia and North Korea has a profound impact on Euro-Atlantic security, as well as in the Indo-Pacific. “We call on Russia to once again comply with the above-mentioned resolutions and respect its international obligations,” the document appealed.

“We call on all countries not to provide any assistance to Russian aggression and condemn all those who facilitate and thus prolong Russia's illegal war against Ukraine,” the signatories said, assuring that NATO will continue to cooperate with its partners, in particular in the Indo-Pacific region , to promote peace and stability and prevent “Russia and those who facilitate its hostilities” from undermining regional and global stability.

The document confirmed that Allies will continue to strengthen NATO's deterrence and defense capabilities against all threats and challenges “in all domains and in many strategic directions throughout the Euro-Atlantic area.”
