From the weekend of November 9-10, WKD trains will run on both tracks on the Warszawa Reduta Ordona – Warszawa Śródmieście section. However, the timetable will not change for now.
Restoring traffic on both tracks is possible because work in the area of platform No. 1 (WKD) at the Warszawa Zachodnia station has been completed.
“Double-edge platforms at the Warszawa Ochota WKD and Warszawa Zachodnia WKD stops will support traffic on both edges,” informed Warszawska Kolej Dojazdowa.
The timetable of WKD trains will not change. It will be valid until November 30 (Saturday) inclusive. A change to the timetable for Saturdays, Sundays and holidays is planned from Sunday, December 1.
Train frequency
The frequency of WKD trains in November on weekdays will be every 15 minutes on the section between Warsaw and Podkowa Leśna. Trains will run to Grodzisk Mazowiecki every 15-30 minutes, to Milanówek – every 60 minutes. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, trains will run every 30 minutes.
A special organization of train traffic will be maintained on these days, consisting in increasing the number of direct connections between Warsaw and Grodzisk Mazowiecki. All trains arriving and departing from the Warszawa Śródmieście WKD station will connect to or from the Grodzisk Mazowiecki Radońska station. Connections to and from Milanówek will be provided only to and from the Komorów station, where there will be a transfer to trains connecting Grodzisk Mazowiecki and Warsaw with a waiting time of 10 minutes.
Travelers intending to travel to and from Milanówek should pay special attention to the fact that there will be direct connections from Warsaw to Milanówek on weekdays. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, as part of the trip to Milanówek, it will be necessary to change to trains on the shorter Komorów – Milanówek Grudów route, which can be done at any stop located on the Komorów – Podkowa Leśna Zachodnia section
