Forecaster of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management, Anna Gryczman, tells IAR that most clouds will be in central Poland and the north-east. Participants of the Independence March in Warsaw may need umbrellas. – We can expect a maximum temperature of around 1-2 degrees. The morning and evening will be foggy. There will be occasional drizzle, says Anna Gryczman. On Wednesday, rain and drizzle may occur throughout the country.

Clear weather will occur only in the foothill regions of the Carpathians. Anna Gryczman says that these areas will also be the warmest. – This is due to the height at which the high-pressure inversion is located. Therefore, in places such as Zakopane or the peaks of the Gorce Mountains it will be the warmest, the maximum temperature will range from eight to ten degrees – he adds.

IMWM forecasts indicate that the coming nights will be cold, especially in foothill and mountain regions. There, the temperature at the ground may drop below minus 10 degrees.

Thick fog. IMWM issued warnings

There has been thick fog since the morning in the southeast, along the western and southwestern borders. In some places it limits visibility to up to 100 meters. IMWM predicts improved visibility after 10 a.m.

Due to fog, level 1 warnings are in force in the province. Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, Podkarpackie Voivodeship, in the southern part of the Lublin Voivodeship and in the Voivodeship Lubuskie and Lower Silesia.
