Liam Payne died October 16, 2024. The singer fell from the third floor of an Argentinian hotel. The prosecutor determined that the former “One Direction” singer did not commit suicide. “Payne did not adopt a reflex defensive posture during the fall. It can be concluded that he could have fallen into a state of semi-consciousness or complete loss of consciousness. This situation excludes the possibility of conscious or voluntary action. The victim did not know what he was doing,” we read in the statement. Three people have been charged in the death of Liam Payne: an alleged drug dealer, a hotel employee and a person close to the singer. The alleged dealer finally spoke up.
The suspicious waiter broke the silence. “I didn't accept any money”
The 24-year-old gave an extensive interview to Argentine television. He assured at the outset that he had never supplied Liam with any drugs. The men allegedly met for the first time at the suspect's work. – We exchanged contact details and met later that evening. It was a normal meeting. He came to pick me up from his hotel room because I was lost, he explained. Liam allegedly contacted him using a secret Instagram account. – We met at the hotel and he showed me some songs he was going to release. (…) The truth is that when he got to the restaurant where I worked, he was already under the influence of drugs and didn't actually eat anything – he explained. The 24-year-old admitted that later there was a second meeting during which they both took drugs. – We took drugs together, but I never supplied him with drugs nor did I accept any money, he assured. In the interview, he also admitted that the services had already searched his house, but he had not been questioned yet.
A sad moment at MTV EMAs 2024. Rita Ora mentioned Liam Payne
The singer had the opportunity to work with Liam on a song for the film “The New Shade of Grey”. The recordings for the song brought them closer together. The singer had previously paid tribute to Payne at one of her concerts. This time she mentioned him at a show in Manchester. – Sometimes words just aren't enough. He had a big heart and was always the first person to help others. Wherever he went, he brought joy and warmth with his presence. He left behind a huge legacy, she said with tears in her eyes.
