In Piaseczno near Warsaw, there was a collision involving Piotr Kandyba, an MP from the Civic Coalition. “Nothing serious happened to me or the perpetrator. The car is a purchased item, and now I can only express my great gratitude to the services,” the parliamentarian said.
As Artur Węgrzynowicz from tvnwarszawa.pl found out, there was a collision in Piaseczno at the intersection of Armii Krajowej and Ksiącia Janusz I Stary streets. One of the cars was driven by Piotr Kandyba, an MP from the Civic Coalition.
Magdalena Gąsowska, spokeswoman for the Piaseczno police, informed the tvnwarszawa.pl editorial office that “the driver of the Toyota vehicle did not give way to a Toyota Yaris driving correctly.” The perpetrator of the collision was sober and was fined PLN 2,500 and 10 penalty points.
The incident was described by MP Kandyba on his Facebook profile. “I will remember November 11 forever – it was my first such a serious accident and the emotions associated with it. Nothing serious happened to me or the perpetrator. The car – a purchased item, and now I can only express my great gratitude to the services – the police, the Volunteer Fire Department, the State Fire Service in Piaseczno,” wrote the MP. He also thanked “the anonymous driver who was the first at the scene with a rescue bag” and provided him with first aid.
