On Tuesday evening, firefighters extinguished a passenger car that caught fire on the S8 route towards Gdańsk. We received the first information about the fire on Kontakt24.
– We received the report at 19/07. A car caught fire and there was a lot of smoke rising over the route. The people inside left the vehicle before our arrival. Nothing happened to anyone – said junior brigadier Artur Kamiński, press officer of the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Warsaw, in an interview with tvnwarszawa.pl. He added that three crews were dispatched to the site and the fire was brought under control.
