A policeman from Golub-Dobrzyń escorted a car with a burned baby. The girl's crying mother ran to the officer and asked him for help. Thanks to efficient intervention, the child was delivered to the hospital in Toruń on time.
Sergeant Grzegorz Dobaczewski served in the Golub-Dobrzyń area. At one point, a distraught and crying woman ran up to him and informed him that she was taking her less than one-year-old daughter to a hospital in Toruń.
“The child needed immediate medical help. As it turned out, as a result of an accident, he suffered serious burns,” said the District Police Headquarters in Golub-Dobrzyń.
The child was taken to hospital
The officer quickly decided to pilot the car with the injured toddler. First, he notified the unit's officer on duty, and then, using light and sound signals, he enabled the family to quickly travel to the hospital in Toruń.
“There, the little girl was provided with specialist medical care,” said the Golub-Dobrzyń police station.
