During Tuesday's government meeting, Prime Minister Donald Tusk, referring to the ongoing war, said that it was “a thousand days that shocked the whole world.” The Polish Sejm honored the memory of the victims of the Russian invasion with a minute of silence.

Tusk also recalled that Poland has been supporting Ukraine in “its heroic fight against the Russian attacker” from the first days of the war.
Earlier on Tuesday, referring to the Russian attack, he wrote on the X platform: “1,000 days of Russian aggression, 1,000 days of Ukrainian heroism and suffering, 1,000 days of Polish help and solidarity.” “By supporting Ukraine, we move the war away from our borders. Let us remember this every day,” he added.
