“Seconds counted”
Sub-inspector Mirko Bemben has been serving at the Polish-German Center for Cooperation of Border, Police and Customs Services since the facility was established in December 2007.
The center operates between two lanes of the A2 motorway, at the former border crossing in Świecko.
According to the Lubusz police, information is exchanged through this facility on combating broadly understood cross-border crime, including investigations and investigations, and road congestion.
– Officers of the Polish-German Cooperation Center are able to immediately provide information requested by the foreign partner in the event of road accidents, missing people or property, searches for people or cross-border pursuits.
