As the company spokeswoman emphasized, the layoffs are to be “conducted in a socially responsible manner.”
Negotiations with employees
The number of planned layoffs is currently based on preliminary estimates and may change after negotiations between Bosch and employee representatives, which are scheduled to begin soon, the Tagesschau portal recalled.
The largest layoffs are expected to affect the Cross-Domain Computing Solutions division, which deals with driver assistance systems and automated driving solutions.. According to the company, demand for these technologies does not meet previous expectations.
