The Airport Haber news service reported that the engine caught fire. Video shared on social media shows emergency units responding to the scene of the fire, with flames and smoke pouring from the plane's engine.
“The engine fire occurred after a Sukhoi Superjet 100 passenger plane belonging to the Russian Azimuth Airlines landed at the Antalya airport,” we read in the description of the video on the X website.
According to the website, the plane arrived from the Russian resort of Sochi on the Black Sea.
According to the Antalya airport website, the Azimuth Airlines flight from Sochi landed at 18.25 GMT.
