You cannot discriminate against someone who is associated with one or another party. (…) We do not sin. We focus on competent, qualified people – said Minister of Infrastructure Dariusz Klimczak (PSL) in “Piasecki's Rozmowa” about allegations regarding employing State Treasury companies with people related to PSL.
Minister of Infrastructure Dariusz Klimczak (PSL) in “Piasecki's Rozmowa” was asked about reports regarding people associated with the Polish People's Party who sat in State Treasury companies and government agencies.
– This is misleading people, because these people do not have a PSL card. If they have, some of them. Certainly, the main criterion is knowledge and substantive preparation. However, if someone claims that there is a person who is a son PSL MPno one pays attention to the fact that he is a man associated with the railway. He works for Koleje Wielkopolskie and this type of people are needed on the supervisory boards of other companies to have professional knowledge and for this company to function very well – argued Klimczak.
Konrad Piasecki mentioned, among others, the example of the head of the Military Property Agency, who is said to be related to Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. – The head of this agency is a graduate of economics with a specialization in real estate management. The fact that he knows Kosiniak-Kamysz and worked with him in the past does not mean that he cannot function there – said the minister.
When asked if it was a coincidence that “eight out of ten heads of regional branches of the Military Property Agency are people from PSL”, Klimczak replied that “these people will be held accountable for their work results.” – You cannot discriminate against someone who is associated with one or another party. (…) We do not sin. We focus on competent and qualified people – argued the TVN24 guest.
