The draft law on civil partnerships of persons of the same or different sex is supported by half of the respondents – according to a survey conducted by Opinia24 for “Fakty” TVN and TVN24. 39 percent of respondents answered that they would not be in favor of introducing such a regulation, and 11 percent had no opinion on this matter.
“Work is underway on the Act on civil partnerships, legalizing relationships for same-sex and different-sex couples. Are you in favor of such regulation of informal relationships?” – this question was asked in survey Opinia24 studio for “Fakty” TVN and TVN24.
50 percent of respondents declared that they would support such a solution, 39 percent answered negatively, and 11 percent said they had no opinion or it was difficult to say.

Project on civil partnerships
In mid-October it appeared on the website of the Government Legislation Center draft act on registered partnerships by the Ministry of Equality Katarzyna Kotula (Left). The project covers the issues of concluding and annulling relationships, property relations and participation in the care of a child.
The bill has not yet been debated by the Sejm.
