Until the explosion that damaged the canal supplying water to the cooling systems of two coal-fired power plants located near the town of Zubin Potok occurred on Friday. Explosion damage caused power and water supply interruptions.
– It was a criminal, terrorist attackaimed at destroying our critical infrastructure, said Prime Minister Albin Kurti, suggesting that the attack was carried out by “professionals led by Serbia“.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia reacted to the words of the head of the Kosovo government. Head of the ministry Marko Durić strongly condemned the damage to the canal and denied the claims of the authorities Kosovo about a “terrorist attack”.
– Such destructive actions are unacceptable and threaten the stability we strive for – he emphasized, adding that the accusations are real baseless and intended to divert attention from the problem.

“We condemn the attack on Kosovo's critical infrastructure in Zubin Potok. Instead of biased accusations We call for an impartial and comprehensive investigation” – he wrote on the X platform.
