Donald Trump announced that he would fly to Paris to attend the opening ceremony of Notre Dame Cathedral on Saturday. The inauguration celebrations of the cathedral renovated after the fire are scheduled for December 7-8.
“On Saturday I will go to Paris to attend the opening of the wonderful historic Notre Dame Cathedral, which was completely rebuilt after a devastating fire five years ago,” he wrote on social media Donald Trumpwho will officially assume the office of president USA January 20 next year.

Notre Dame Cathedral will reopen this weekend after a five-year reconstruction following a 2019 fire. The ceremony on December 7 will be secular. December 8 at At 10.30 the first Holy Mass will be held at Notre Dame, celebrated by Archbishop of Paris Laurent Ulrich.
Only invited people will be able to enter the square in front of Notre Dame – a maximum of 3,000. The embankments of the Seine near the temple can accommodate about 40,000 people. Special security measures will be in place throughout Cite Island and the waterfront, including restrictions on car traffic and trade throughout the weekend. Some metro stations will be closed.
