Kiełpin. A strange building near Warsaw, it resembles a wedge

An investment consisting of five houses is being built in the area of ​​Kiełpin and Dziekanów Leśny near Warsaw. One of them is quite unusual – it resembles a wedge. The gable wall of the building is less than two meters wide. The investor explains why.

Photos from the investment near Warsaw appeared on one of the social networking sites (portal X). The short recording shows a building, probably a terraced house, which is intended to serve as a residential building, with an unnaturally narrow gable wall.

There were a lot of critical comments under the video. Users of the X portal compare the investment to a parcel locker. Others mock that if the wind blows stronger, the building will fall over. There was also a positive entry. Its author indicates that using a narrow part of the building for a circulation route between floors is a very good solution.

Unusual shape

From the information board located at the construction site, we learn that four single-family, two-unit, semi-detached residential buildings and one single-family, two-unit, detached residential building are being built here.

– The investment is located on the border of Kiełpin and Dziekanów Leśny, close to national road number seven. The first thing that catches the eye is the unusual shape of one of the buildings. The shape of the volume resembles a ship, due to the gable wall being about one and a half to a maximum of two meters wide. There is a door on the wall. As I managed to find out from people working on the construction site, this is the entrance to the utility room – described tvnwarszawa.pl reporter Artur Węgrzynowicz, who observed the construction site on Thursday.

The investor explains

Why does the building have such a strange shape? We called the number on the information board. The call was answered by a man who confirmed that he was an investor but preferred to remain anonymous. As he explained, the form of the building results primarily from the triangular shape of the plot on which it was built.

– The narrowest part of the building was used for the staircase, where, contrary to appearances, the stairs are wider than in many large houses. In addition, there is a toilet, a laundry room, i.e. a typical utility room – our interlocutor described. – It all fits in there very nicely – he assured.

As the investor pointed out, the space was perfectly used. – Of course, there is no living room with a terrace here, there would be no way to do it. But further away (in the wider part of the building – ed.) it is already there – he added.
