Israel bombed Yemen, there are deaths. The target of the raids was the port and the oil terminal. The Israeli armed forces have accused Yemen's Houthi rebels of firing a rocket into Israel. The conflict with the pro-Iranian Houthis is another front of Israel's activities. The war in the Gaza Strip has been going on for many months, and Human Rights Watch accuses Israel of genocide against the Palestinians by denying them access to water.

It was just one step away from a great tragedy. Shrapnel from a rocket fired at Israel from Yemen fell on a school in Ramat Gan near Tel Aviv. The missile was successfully neutralized, but parts of it fell into densely populated areas. – This attack was powerful. Fortunately, it happened at 3 a.m. and there were no children inside, reports Jonathan Raz from Israel's Civil Defense.

In response, Israel scrambled its fighters and bombed targets located as much as two thousand kilometers from its borders. The Israeli military struck facilities used by Houthi fighters in Yemen, including ports and energy infrastructure in the capital city of Sanaa, which they control. Airstrikes in Yemen have killed at least nine people.

Another front in the clash between Israel and de facto Iran

– Whoever raises a hand against the State of Israel – his hand will be cut off, whoever harms – will be harmed seven times. We will strike with full force and will not allow any shelling or threats against the state of Israel, says Israeli Katz, Israel's Minister of Defense.

Yemen is another front where Israel is de facto clashing with Iran. Houthi militias are sponsored and armed by the ayatollah regime. They are considered a terrorist organization by many countries.

Since the start of Israel's war with Hamas, the Houthis have regularly attacked merchant ships passing through the Red Sea. – They are attacking not only us – they are attacking the whole world. They attack international shipping and trade routes. So when Israel takes action against the Houthis, it is acting on behalf of the entire international community, says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

HWR: Israel deprives people in the Gaza Strip of access to drinking water

The Israeli military continues to bomb targets in the Gaza Strip. Over the last several dozen hours, bombs have killed at least 30 people there.

Human Rights Watch accuses Israel of intentionally depriving civilians in the Gaza Strip of access to drinking water. The organization thunders:

“This is not simple neglect. This is a calculated policy that has led to the death of thousands of people from dehydration and disease. It is a crime against humanity consisting of extermination and acts of genocide.”

This is not the first time Israel has been accused of crimes against humanity. On this very charge, in November the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant.

– To get one liter of water, I have to walk five kilometers. Why? Because water is scarce in the Gaza Strip. Even a liter is hard to come by. I have to wait in line for two hours for my turn to fill the water, says Mohammed al-Dayah, a resident of the Gaza Strip.

– The water we drink is not actually fit for consumption, but it is the only water available – points out Rafik Mourad, a resident of the Gaza Strip.

Ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas are underway in Cairo. Leaks show that American, Egyptian and Qatari mediators managed to make significant progress on most of the sticking points, including the exchange of hostages held by Hamas.

US diplomats even say that an agreement may be announced “in the coming days.”
