Not only butter: The Government's Strategic Reserves Agency (RARS) has the following food reserves: cereals and cereal products, meat and meat products, vegetable and animal fats, dairy products and others (e.g. water drinking mineral, sugar) – reports businessinsider.com.pl. The agency maintains too medical reserves (medicines, sera and vaccines, disinfectants, dressings, protective clothing, single-use medical devices, medical equipment and accommodation equipment), crude oil and fuel stocksand also technical reserves (including construction machines, tanks for transporting drinking water, power generators and flood protection products).
RARS intervention: Due to significant growth prices butter, the agency announced tender for sale approx. 1000 tons of this product in blocks of 25 kg. The minimum selling price for butter is PLN 28.38 per kg (excluding VAT).
