The Israeli army announced on Telegram on the night from Friday to Saturday that a missile fired from Yemen exploded near Tel Aviv. Attempts to capture and destroy it failed. Israeli media reported that the missile landed in the area of Bnei Braklocated east of Tel Aviv.
As a result of the bullet falling 14 people were injured – some of them were taken to hospital.
According to Israeli rescue services, the injured are not in danger, but the explosion caused material damage. Several buildings were damaged.

The AFP agency notes that the attack occurred two days after Israeli bombing of Houthi rebel facilities and energy infrastructure in Yemen. It was retaliation for an earlier Houthi attack rocket on Israelwhich, however, was shot down.
Since the beginning of the Israeli-Palestinian war on October 7 last year Hamasem in the Gaza Strip, the Houthis launched a series of rocket attacks on Israel, thus expressing solidarity with the Palestinians. Most of these attacks caused only minor material damage.
