West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Drugs worth a million zlotys. Action by CBŚP officers

The action of the Central Police Investigation Bureau took place in one of the towns in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The officers received information that there may be a marijuana plantation there. Their findings turned out to be true.

– Detailed analysis of the collected information and subsequent findings led to the selection of a specific place. When the police wanted to enter a storage room on the property, the man inside barricaded himself inside and did not respond to their commands. After forcing the door open, the man was arrested – said the subcommand. Krzysztof Wrześniowski, press spokesman CBŚP.

During a search of the premises, the police discovered a professional cannabis plantation.

– On site, the officers secured over 500 bushes of this plant in various stages of growth. Additionally, in the place of illegal cultivation there were over 4 kilograms of dried marijuana ready for sale and nearly 3,000 methamphetamine tablets – added Wrześniowski.

Additionally, the building in which the plantation was located was equipped with specialized equipment necessary for growing hemp – including: appropriate lighting, ventilation, heating and irrigation.

The black market value of the seized drugs is estimated at one million zlotys.

The case is supervised by the Pomeranian Branch of the National Prosecutor's Office in Gdańsk. The detained 49-year-old has already been charged with, among others, growing significant quantities of non-fiber hemp and placing large quantities of drugs on the market.

By decision of the district court in Gdańsk, the man was temporarily arrested for 3 months.
