A 54-year-old American woman was not allowed to enter Poland at Kraków Airport after she presented her passport during check-in, in which she made notes about her travel destinations. The woman will spend the night at the airport and fly back on Thursday.
As Justyna Drożdż from the Carpathian Border Guard Department reported on Wednesday, the border guards were astonished by an American woman who showed up for border control after midnight after arriving at the Krakow airport from London.
In the passport of a 54-year-old citizen USA on nine pages, under the border control stamps of various countries, there were names of countries and airports written in pen by her, under the border control stamps of various countries.
“The handwritten notes entered by the controlled party made the passport useless and did not authorize the American woman to cross the border and enter Poland,” noted the Border Guard representative.
According to her, the traveler was questioned as a witness – the woman was not aware that making entries in her document was a crime.
The foreigner was refused entry into Poland, and she will wait for her return flight to London on Thursday in the service rooms of the Border Guard post at the Krakow airport.
