Iga Świątek's next start will be the Australian Open. The competition in Melbourne will start on January 12. The Pole does not have very good memories of this tournament. In 2022, it reached the semi-finals, but the next two editions ended in the fourth and third rounds. Sportskeeda notes that it may be difficult to achieve a better result this year.

“Although the 23-year-old Pole is definitely the best women's player on clay courts, she is not the best on hard courts. This crown should probably go to Aryna Sabalenka, because she was more consistent on this surface,” they emphasize. The Belarusian is a two-time Australian Open champion in a row. Last year she also won the US Open.
