A controversial guest at a meeting with Szymon Hołownia. “The services did not provide any information”

– I met because it was an open meeting for Podlasie entrepreneurs – explains Szymon Hołownia. The person, which the Marshal of the Sejm talks about, is a Podlasie businessman who has prosecutor's allegations and who is associated with the Belarusian oligarch. – I didn't know about this gentleman's past. The organizers of my visit did not have this knowledge – assures the candidate of the third way for president.

Witold K. in Bialystok is not an anonymous person. This is the President of the Honorary Chamber of Industry and Commerce in this city. – Witold K. heard allegations of promising a financial benefit of considerable value (…) in connection with a tender organized in a foreign state – informs Zbigniew Szpiczko from the District Prosecutor's Office in Bialystok.

The prosecutor's office has been dealing with the case of Witold K. for 9 years. At the same time, she studied his relationship with the Belarusian oligarcha, a close to man Alaxander Lukashenko.

– For the first time I saw this man and I think that most of us, including journalists, if she met him on the street, would have no idea – comments the meeting Mirosław Suchoń from the third road.

The difference is that it was not a meeting organized on the street, and the guest list should have been known. This may cost Szymon Hołownia a loss of support, hence the defense by a political attack, and the MPs of his party attack. Polish services were in their crosshairs.

The Marshal of the Sejm, the second person in the state, has constant protection, but – as we heard today – the State Protection Service, especially in the election campaign, has a limited field of maneuver. – They protect a person protected against physical danger, but they have no influence on who the person wants to meet with – explains Jacek Dobrzyński, spokesman for the minister of the coordinator of special services.

It is different when the marshal is at work. – If an inadequate person appeared at a meeting with the marshal, if they came to him to the office, then the filter works, either service or the Marshal's Guard – indicates Cezary Tomczyk, deputy minister of national defense.
