Great data leak: They appeared on a well -known hacker forum Posts with login data links 24.5 million Polish accounts. Their origin is unknown. Although the scale of the leakage seems enormous, it is probably already stolen data, and entries are recycling data from the past, even from a dozen or so years ago. It is known, however, that emails in the files do not repeat.
Here you will check if your data has leaked: A total of seven entries were published, each consisting of 3.5 million lines. They are stored in a cloud at a Russian supplier. Although this is recycling and can be about old login details, it is worth checking if any of our password has leaked. This can be done on the government portal safedane.gov.pl or on an international website haveibeenpwned.com.
We learned from the leak: CyberDefence portal24 has analyzed four out of seven files, which made up 14 million records. The analysis shows that the unique phrases constituted 4.7 million of them, i.e. barely one -third of all passwords. Over 1.4 million of them had eight characters, and slogans longer than 10 characters were recorded, which is 22 percent. whole. It is also worth analyzing e-mail addresses. “We managed to determine that over Four million accounts used an e -mail in the domain wp.pl and three and a half million used interia.pl. The podium closes o2.pl with one and a half million records ” – informs the portal.
