Thurnbichler ceases to be a coach of the Polish national team. What now?

On Friday, March 28, these predictions were confirmed. Even before 10 o'clock, Jakub Balcerski from Sport.pl informed about the upcoming change of the selector. Shortly thereafter, PZN officially passed this information. After nearly three years of work Thomas Thurnbichler He ceases to be the coach of the jumper team. It was not the best time for white and red when it comes to successes. It has also been sparked in the relationship between competitors and a staff. At the same time, it is no secret that Paweł Wąsek – the only Polish jumper, who recently presented an equal, good form, was the most satisfied of the cooperation with Thurnbichler.

“The rest of the players could not trust the Austrian, and he could not gain their trust. He sometimes understood better, with others worse, but too many had reservations about cooperation with the trainer, so that he could stay in the team” – wrote Jakub Balcerski for Sport.pl.

PZN met the expectations of the players and in the near future the jumper's staff await big changes. What will the Polish national team look like now? Thomas Thurnbichler got a proposal to include the junior team – he has not yet decided whether he would accept it. The duties of the first coach from the new season will be taken over by Maciej Maciusiak, who is now to build his staff.
