The KSW 99 gala was supposed to take place on Saturday, October 19, at the Ostrovar Arena in Ostrava, Czech Republic. However, the federation announced that the event would be moved to Gliwice due to the difficult situation in the city after the September floods. A storm quickly broke out because this translation seemed strange from the beginning. One of the Czech journalists even accused KSW of lying because the Ostrava arena is functioning normally.
