Łukasz Owsian shared on his social media a summary from the Strava application, which showed the kilometers traveled by cyclists in 2024. It turns out that the 34-year-old from Toruń cycled as many as 38,967 kilometers. He covered as many as 12,788 kilometers in the official races in which he took part. It's the best result all over the world.
Jonasa Abrahamsen from the Uno-X Mobility team took second place and was close to Owsian's achievement. The Norwegian cycled 38,526 kilometers, which is just over 400 kilometers less. These two absolutely outperformed the other cyclists, because the third one, Mathijsa Paasschens, can boast of having ridden 36,065 kilometers. That's almost three thousand less than the Pole.
“As they say, not only kilometers play the biggest role, but it gives me satisfaction. Once again, I am at the top with the most kilometers traveled by pros (professionals – editor's note) in 2024. Fortunately/unfortunately, this time the globe is not I drove around,” Owsian wrote on social media.
The circumference of the earth is 40,075 kilometers, so the representative Polish it was really close to covering this distance. Perhaps he will succeed in 2025, when he will race in the colors Polish Mazowsze Serce Polski team.
