A tragic accident at the Rudna mine. The 41-year-old is dead

There was a fatal accident at the Rudna mining plants. Rock masses hit a 4-year-old man working there. According to KGHM, he is an external company employee. The causes and circumstances of the accident will be explained by a special commission.

The accident occurred on Wednesday around 4pm. As reported in the KGHM message “in the GG-1 region G-1 branch was covered with rock masses and the employee is covered.”

A 41-year-old man is dead

“Despite the immediate rescue operation and resuscitation, the vital functions of the victim could not be restored. He was the dead employee of an external company, he was 41 years old. The causes of the accident will be examined by a special post -accident commission” – wrote in a statement. By decision of the company's management board, a three -day mourning was introduced in all branches of the company.
