Fatal accident on a local road in Międzyrzecz County (Lubusz Voivodeship). A 25-year-old motorcyclist died in the incident.
The accident occurred on Sunday around 4 p.m. on the section between the village of Skoki and Międzyrzecze.
The police's preliminary findings show that an elderly man driving a Renault passenger car, leaving the gas station, forced the right-of-way on a motorcyclist driving on the main road. The driver of the bike hit the side of the vehicle.
The 25-year-old died in hospital
The 25-year-old motorcyclist was in a very serious condition and was taken by ambulance to hospital, where, despite the efforts of doctors, she died.
The investigation into the accident will be supervised by the District Prosecutor's Office in Międzyrzecz.
