Aleksander Kwaśniewski supported Radosław Sikorski. He assessed that the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who is running in the Civic Coalition's primaries, has “determination and the will to fight.” As the former president noted, “without courage, without the will to win, it is impossible to achieve success.”

Former president Aleksander Kwaśniewski in the recording lasting just over a minute, he mentioned that he knew Radosław Sikorski for many years. – We used to be on different sides of a political dispute, but times have changed. We have a war next to us, the threat is close, security issues will dominate political life for years, and the next presidential elections will certainly dominate, he said.

Kwaśniewski emphasized that Sikorski “has extraordinary experience” as the minister of national defense in the past, as well as for many years as the minister of foreign affairs. – (He is) a man who knows politics, diplomacy and military issues. He knows people, has many partners both overseas, in Europe and in the world – he mentioned. – He has something else, because I know what presidential elections are and, I will say immodestly, I also know how to win them – said the former president. As he said, Sikorski has, in his opinion, “determination and the will to fight.” – Without courage, without the will to win, it is impossible to achieve success. Radek Sikorski has these features – he summed up.

Sikorski, sharing Kwaśniewski's recording on X, thanked the former president for his support.
