In 2024, the profit of the State Forests amounted to about PLN 870 million, which is more than twice as much as assumed in forecasts – according to data published by the State Forests. Institution representatives emphasize that this is estimated data, and the final result will be developed until the end of March 2025.
The State Forests said in response to PAP questions that in accordance with preliminary results The profit for 2024 amounted to PLN 869.7 million gross, i.e. PLN 785.4 million net.
The farm also announced that the value of mandatory payment from the sale of wood for 2024 was PLN 223.7 million. In 2014, the provisions came into force according to which the State Forests were obliged to transfer 2 percent to the state budget. revenues from the sale of wood.

A new fee for the State Forests
Representatives of the Ministry of Climate and Environment argue that the State Forests should be more financially involved in the protection of nature in Poland.
