The dispute between RadosÅ‚aw Sikorski and Andrzej Duda over the appointment of Polish ambassadors continues. Presidential Minister Andrzej Dera said in “Kropka nad i” that candidates for new roles could be appointed “if an agreement is reached between the president and the minister of foreign affairs.” He argued that the point was “for the Minister of Foreign Affairs to consult all these matters with the President, which he does not do.”
Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Dera, was asked in “Kropka nad i” on TVN24 about filling the positions of Polish ambassadors and the fate of the candidates presented to the president.

When asked when, for example, Maciej Hunia, candidate for Polish ambassador in… IsraelDera replied that “if an agreement is reached between the president and the minister of foreign affairs.”
When asked what the agreement would be, he argued that it was about “the Minister of Foreign Affairs consulting all these matters with the President, which he does not do.”
To the attention that the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs RadosÅ‚aw Sikorski sent applications to Andrzej Dudathe TVN24 guest replied that “you have to agree first and then send applications, these are the rules.” When asked whether Minister Sikorski could come to the president, Dera replied that he thought “the door is always open and that's what the president is talking about.”
