PiS presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki met with President Andrzej Duda on Thursday. “Thank you for the nice meeting and conversation about Polish matters,” Nawrocki wrote and published a photo.
Karol Nawrocki published a photo from the Presidential Palace and thanked him Andrzej Duda for a “nice meeting” and “talk about Polish matters”.
Paweł Naszaernaker from PiS, who heads Nawrocki's staff, published a few-second recording showing the president and the PiS candidate shaking hands.
The president forgot the name of the PiS candidate
At the end of November Duda forgot the name of one of the “most important candidates” at the conference. – The Civic Coalition presented its candidate, Mr Rafał Trzaskowski. Law and Justice supports the civic candidate… Mr…. Dr. Karol Nawrocki – said the president after a short pause, using a hint from someone standing next to him.
The president then said that Nawrocki was a “very interesting candidate.” – When it comes to the approach to our affairs, historical issues, state issues – he is close to my heart (…) I am glad that Law and Justice presented him as their candidate, as a candidate whom they support – he added.
