Al Hilal is a real nightmare for Al Nassr i Cristiano Ronaldo. The great Portuguese and his Arab team are unable to win the Saudi Arabian championship or any other major trophy, and this is largely due to the dominance of Al Hilal. Before Friday's hit in the 9th round of the Saudi Pro League, Al Hilal had won five times and drawn once in the last six matches against Al Nassr, and entered the match against Ronaldo and company with 24 points in the table.
Another disappointment for Cristiano Ronaldo. Only a draw in the hit, a polemic with the referees. “Messi! Messi!”
However, the match in Riyadh started perfectly for Al Nassr, which opened the scoring in the 52nd second, when Otavio's great play behind the defensive line was perfectly controlled by Anderson Talisca and with a right-foot shot he beat the rival goalkeeper – Bono.
The Saudi Pro League hit was very exciting. In the 38th minute, Aleksandar Mitrović scored for the hosts, but the Serb was offside. Moreover, for the second and third time Bono's goalkeeper was beaten by Anderson Talisca at the end of the first and beginning of the second part of the game, but in these situations he was also caught offside.
After this situation, Cristiano Ronaldo talked to the German referee, Felix Zwayer, during the break and gestured quite eloquently about being booked after his first foul, and his rivals tried to force the referee to react with their shouts.
On the way to the locker room, the Portuguese clashed with the assistant referee.
What's more, after Ronaldo's yellow card, he also received a reaction from Al Hilal fans present at the stadium, who started chanting “Messi! Messi!”, which made the Portuguese smile.
In the second half Al Hilal after hour games began to fight harder for a draw. Salem Al Dawsari hit the post in the 64th minute, and Renan Lodi's rebound was brilliantly saved by Bento, which was a warning shot for the hosts. However, it did not help, because in the 77th minute, after a cross by Renan Lodi, Sergej Milinković-Savić headed the ball completely unmarked in the penalty area.
At the end, the guests demanded more penalty kick after a hard clash between goalkeeper Bento and Aleksandar Mitrović, but the German referee Felix Zwayer did not point out the lime and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Thanks to the drastic draw, Al Hilal remains undefeated in the Saudi Pro League as of May 23, 2023. With 25 points from nine games, Jorge Jesus' side are a point ahead of Al Ittihad. Al Nassr is third, but is already six points behind the leader. Cristiano Ronaldo is moving away from another national championship, which he has yet to win transfer to the Arabian Peninsula.
