Beata Chmielowska is one of the most famous TV presenters. She was employed at Telewizja Polska for 26 years. Viewers remembered her from hosting “Teleexpress”, but she also appeared in other programs, including as a guest. Not everyone remembers that in 2020 she took part in the TVP show “Star Voice. Stars have a voice”, in which stars played the role of singers. Then, while promoting the program, the presenter also revealed some facts from her private life. She told, among others: about what blood flows in her veins.
Beata Chmielowska about her origins. It's not entirely Polish
Chmielowska appeared as a guest in one of the episodes of “Questions for Breakfast”, talking about her vocal activities in the program “Star Voice. Stars have a voice”. She also referred to her origins. Turkish and Italian blood flows in the veins of her ancestors. This international mix was started by her great-great-grandfather. Her grandmother, in turn, is the daughter of an Italian mother. “My great-great-grandfather Antoni, a November insurgent, went to Turkey in 1855 together with Adam Mickiewicz himself. He settled in Constantinople, met a beautiful Turkish woman with whom he had a son, Jan. The latter met a temperamental Italian woman. They had four children, among whom was mine grandma,” she said in the program.
Beata Chmielowska said goodbye to TVP
Even though the presenter has not appeared on the air for almost a year, she has only now left the station. “The employment contract between Telewizja Polska and Beata Chmielowska expired in December 2024 by agreement of the parties,” the TVP press office informed the Press.pl portal. It is not yet known whether Beata Chmielowska will join the competition in this situation, but many fans are counting on it. “Ms. Beata, when will we be able to see you on TV or the Internet?” – we read in the comments on the presenter's Instagram profile. For now, Chmielowska leaves these questions unanswered.
