Białobrzegi. A stolen bus in a ditch, next to two drunk. They went to their partner through half of Poland

There was a bus in the ditch, and there were two intoxicated men next to it. None confessed to driving the vehicle. It turned out that the vehicle disappeared from the parking lot of the unconscious owner of the transport company. The police suppose that the detainees traveled half of Poland to meet the partner of one of them in a picnic.

Policemen from Białobrzegi received on Saturday, May 3 in the morning a notification about a bus, which entered a roadside ditch in Olszamy in the commune of Promna. They found a damaged vehicle and two young men next to him from the Miechów poviat.

As aspirant Joanna Golus, a spokeswoman for the Poviat Police Headquarters in Białobrzegi, reported, the officers examined the 18-year-old and 22-year-old breathalyzer. – Both were very intoxicated: the younger had 1.69 per mil, older over 2 per mille of alcohol in the body – says the policewoman.

None confessed to driving.

– Tachograph policemen read the name of the transport company and contacted the bus owner to determine whether they are employees of the company or not. The man was shocked by information. It turned out that they were not the company's employees. He claimed that his Mercedes was still in the parking lot in Miechów, near Krakow. He immediately submitted a notification about the theft of a bus at the local station – describes a spokeswoman for the Białobrzeg police.

The determination is underway who was sitting behind the bus wheel. The officers secured traces at the collision site to get the answer to this question.

The men were detained. The police announce that they may be responsible for the theft of a vehicle. In addition, if the investigation shows that one of them was conducting a bus under the influence of alcohol, he will be charged with further allegations.

– As it turned out, one of the detainees has a partner in the vicinity of Pruszków and probably traveled there – say the officers.
