In the Bieszczady Mountains, Niedźwiedzica attacked a man in the forest. The tourist freed himself from oppression, but suffered serious injuries. He was transported to the hospital. His life is not in danger.

The incident occurred on Wednesday.

“Today, the R0192 team stationed in Tarnawa Górna was ordered to a man attacked in the forest by the mother of two small bear cubs. Fortunately, the man managed to free from this dangerous oppression. However, severely bitten required urgent transporting to SOR in Sanok” – said in the Bieszczady emergency ambulance in Sanok.

The information was also confirmed by the Independent Public Health Care Team in Sanok.

“The man was efficiently transported by ZRM BPR to the Hospital Emergency Department in Sanok, where he received professional and fast medical assistance. After providing wounds and stabilizing the state of health, the patient was admitted to the surgery department for further hospitalization and treatment,” said the clinic.

The victim's life is not in danger.
