Tragic accident in Bilczyce in Lesser Poland. A passenger car hit a cyclist carrying her five-year-old daughter. The 40-year-old woman died on the spot, the girl was taken to hospital in a serious condition. Two people traveling in the car were detained.
The accident occurred on Sunday shortly after 5 p.m. in Bilczyce near Wieliczka. The services received a report of a road accident involving a passenger car and a bicycle.
After arriving at the scene, it turned out that an Audi had hit the bicycle carried by a 40-year-old woman with her 5-year-old daughter. The woman died on the spot, the child was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

– Two people were hit by the driver of an Audi passenger car. There were 2 people in the vehicle. They were detained. The police are currently investigating who was driving – Senior Warrant Officer Paweł Tomasik, press officer of the Wieliczka City Police Headquarters, told tvn24.pl.

The detained men are 37 and 52 years old. Both are residents of Wieliczka County.
