The attacker delivered two blows to the thigh and right hand to a man walking down the street in Boguszów-Gorce (Lower Silesian Voivodeship). He was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He survived, but almost lost his right hand. The blows were inflicted with a samurai knife. The police detained the suspect and two other men.
The attack took place on Friday after 18 on Reymonta Street in Boguszów-Gorce.
– The attacker struck two blows to the right thigh and right hand with a samurai sword. The injured person was taken to hospital, where doctors fought for his life. The medics managed to save the life and hand of the injured person – says Staff Sergeant Aleksander Karkosz from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Wałbrzych.

It was supposed to be about a woman
He adds that the police detained three men (the robbery suspect and his accomplices) – two on Friday and the third on Saturday.
– These people are currently being brought to the prosecutor's office. I confirm that these are the three men who are visible on the surveillance video that recorded the entire incident. The motives for this attack will not be disclosed for the sake of the investigation, even if they are established, the policeman said.
The local portal gazetawrocławska.pl was the first to write about the case, where the motive was jealousy over a woman.
