Scan and pay: From March 5, new Lidl regulations will also apply Plus. Contrary to what the Polish media write, records regarding the scan & go function are not new. The possibility of scanning and paying purchases in the application, bypassing queues to the cash register, was entered in the previous regulations of October 2024. Basket checks? One of the Polish portals also informs that Lidl employees will be able to check out the contents of the shopping basket. However, there are no such provisions in the Polish regulations. Only foreign sources say that the introduction of this service will be associated with random controls. New returns: Another change that Polish media mistakenly announced is a simplification of returns of products bought by the Lidl Plus application. An unwanted product can be returned in any Lidl stationary store in Poland within 30 days, but this is no new. Such entries were already in at least two previous regulations of Lidl.
