On September 19, around 10.50 p.m., the Ciechanów police officer on duty received a report about a road accident on the Ciechanów-Sońsk route in the town of Mieszki Bardony. The driver of the Toyota, a 24-year-old resident of the Ciechanów district, was driving from Ciechanów towards Gołotczyzna and hit a moose, which suddenly ran onto the road.

– A few minutes later, another incident occurred in the same place. The police's preliminary findings show that the driver of the Volvo, a 43-year-old resident of the Ciechanów poviat, who was driving from the direction of Sońsk, hit the Toyota and a group of five people who were helping the injured 24-year-old resident of the Ciechanów poviat, and then hit the person lying on the road. an elk on the road and hit the Skoda.
