Cyganówka, DK76. Accident, the car broke in half

Two passenger cars collided in Cyganówka (Masovian Voivodeship). One person was injured. The road is blocked.

The incident took place on Thursday morning on national road number 76. Police spokeswoman in Garwolin, Assistant Commissioner Małgorzata Pychner, said that the report was received at 7.58.

– Preliminary findings show that the driver of the Volkswagen Golf drove around a curve in the road and into the opposite lane, where he collided with a Volkswagen Multivan. The driver of the first car was taken to hospital. The road is blocked in both directions. Emergency services are on site, she told us just before 9 a.m.

The photos show that the impact force must have been enormous. After the collision, the Golf broke in half, its front end found itself on the side of the road. The front of the multivan was crushed.
