Cyril Ramaphosa has been sworn in as president of South Africa for a second time period – this time as a part of a coalition authorities.

His African Nationwide Congress (ANC) get together lost its controlling majority in final month’s election after ruling for 30 years for the reason that finish of apartheid.

President Ramaphosa’s motorcade arrived on the ceremony in Pretoria on Wednesday, with a guard of honour on horseback, watched by African heads of state and dignitaries.

President Ramaphosa will head what he calls a government of national unity with 5 different events, together with the ANC’s largest rival and virulent critic, the pro-business Democratic Alliance (DA).

Whereas traders have welcomed the inclusion of the DA, analysts say sharp ideological divisions between the events may make the federal government unstable.
