What will the defense package include? Denmark announces a package to increase the security of Greenland. The money will be spent on two Thetis-class patrol boats, two long-range drones and two dog sleds. It is also necessary increasing the number of troops in Greenland and adapting the airport in Kangerlussuaq in Greenland to handle F-35 combat aircraft.
Trump wants Greenland? Denmark's announcement came just two days after Donald Trump's comment. President-elect USA reported on the Truth Social platform that “possession and control of Greenland is an absolute necessity”. Everything for (in his opinion) national security purposes and freedom around the world. The Danish politician described such coincidence in time as an “irony of fate”.
