Let's be prepared for at least three days of survival without the help of state structures – said the deputy head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration Wiesław Leśniakiewicz. He added that “civil defense is not only waiting for help” from the state structures. – Each of us in a spirit of responsibility for ourselves and our family creates our own resistance to threats – he emphasized.

– This is a resource that we have today organized at a very high level. We are also rebuilding the whole look at the government agency of strategic reserves and its tasks in the preparation of appropriate reserves for the protection of population, during natural disasters and during the war – said Leśniakiewicz. He explained that Rars is “the main institution that will build supplies for population protection, including technological.”

– At the same time, remember about the responsibility on the side of local governments and voivods in favor of creating your own inventory and continuity of supplies of basic services – he added.

Leśniakiewicz also referred to the training that the Fire Academy is conducted for the starosts. – It consists of a theoretical part related to the tasks that the poviat self -government bodies must fulfill for the protection of population and civil defense, but we also conduct discussions on the managing method in crisis situations. These are also practical elements as part of the decision -making game instructors – he said.

He also reminded about the so -called crisis guide. – These works are already underway. The model for us is a guide that was created in Swedenbut was also released in the Polish language version. It turns out that over 90 percent of Sweden citizens have a positive approach to this guide and we hope that the same reception will be in Poland – he noted.

Let's have a supply of water, necessary drugs, hygiene -sanitary products, food supply, lighting that will work without an electrical network, charged powerbanks. Let's also have a transistor radio, because today we forgot that it could sometimes be the only medium to receive messages – noted Leśniakiewicz.
