Synoptics of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued first degree warnings.
IMGW warnings – freezing precipitation
Alarms before freezing rainfall apply in voivodships:
- Lesser Polandin the Gorlice and Nowy Sącz poviats;
- Podkarpackiein the following poviats: Jasielski, Krosno, LoomBrzozowski, Sanocki, Leski, Bieszczady.
Locally, there is a weak precipitation of freezing rain or drizzle causing ice.
The warnings will be valid until one o'clock on Tuesday.
IMGW warnings – dense fog
First degree warnings against dense fog were issued in the voivodships:
- Pomeranian;
- Warmian-Masurian Voivodeshipoutside the eastern poviats;
- Mazowieckieoutside the poviats located at the eastern ends;
- Kuyavian-Pomeranian;
- Greater Polandin the eastern poviats;
- Łódź;
- Silesian;
- Świętokrzyskie;
- Opole;
- Lesser Poland;
- Podkarpackiein the northern poviats;
- Lublinoutside the north-eastern poviats;
- Lower Silesiain the following poviats: Karkonosze, Jelenia GóraKłodzki, Oleśnicki and Milicki.
In these regions, dense fogs are forecasted, within which visibility can be below 200 m.
The warnings will be up to 10 o'clock on Tuesday.

What are the first degree IMGW warnings
The first degree warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that can cause material losses and a threat to health and life. Conducting activities in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from conducting activities in the area of threat, including delays caused by traffic difficulties, disturbances in outdoor events or the possibility of their dismissal. Recommended caution, the need to track messages and the development of the weather situation.
