Up to 20 cm of snow may fall before noon in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. For now, the roads are passable, but they may be slippery. On the S6 expressway, most drivers drive at a maximum speed of 60 km per hour in the morning.
Snow has been falling in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship since Thursday at 4 p.m. Due to heavy rainfall in Szczecin, several bus lines ran with problems in the evening. Four vehicles serving line 87 were stuck in the area of Duńska and Rostocka streets, on ul. In total, bus 68 stopped across the road.
According to the officer on duty at the GDDKiA road information point, 60 plows and gritters were working on national roads in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship on Thursday evening.
– Firefighters recorded 61 events related to weather conditions. The activities consisted mainly of removing branches and fallen trees from roads and power lines – said aspirant Dariusz Schacht, press spokesman of the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Szczecin. No injuries were reported in any of these incidents.

Roads passable but slippery
Due to heavy snowfall, there is snow in places on the A6 motorway and the S6 expressway. According to TVN24 reporter Bartosz Bartkowiak, around 7:30 a.m. on the section of the “expressway” between Nowogard and Płoty towards Kołobrzeg, most drivers are driving at a speed of 60 km/h
General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways informs that at 7:00 all national roads were passable.
The section Zielona Góra – Myślibórz may be slippery. Snowfall and sleet may occur in some sections, especially in Świdwin, Gryfice and Drawsko counties.

IMWM warnings
In the entire West Pomeranian Voivodeship, IMWM alerts are in force against heavy snowfall, up to 15 cm may fall, locally 20 cm.
The warning in the vicinity of Kołobrzeg is issued until 10.
