The freakfight year 2025 started on Saturday, January 11 in Ostrów Wielkopolski, where the Prime gala was organized MMA 11, where the fight of the evening was to be the fight between Kasjusz “Don Kasjo” Życinski and Marcin Wrzosek. And since the 11th gala takes place on Saturday, January 11, there are as many as eleven fights prepared for this evening.
Wrzosek showed that it was not over yet. He defeated “Don Kasjo” in the main event
In the last fight of the gala, the fight of the evening, everyone expected great emotions and a high level of sportsmanship. One of the best Polish freak fighters faced one who fought professionally and still hoped to return to the fight KSW. Since the first defeat against Kasjusz “Don Kasjo” Życiński at the FAME 12 gala in 2021, the door to the best Polish MMA federation was closed for Marcin Wrzosek and the 37-year-old had to prove his quality with each of his freak fights.
And this motivation was visible in Wrzosek from the first seconds of the fight. He was faster, more active and hit his opponent more often in a duel of good quality. In this way, although there were not many thunders during the entire fight, Wrzosek outscored Don Kasjo in subsequent rounds.
Everything had to be decided by the judges, and they had no doubts – they unanimously awarded the victory to Marcin Wrzosek. And this in each of the three rounds played. The former KSW fighter won the sixth out of eight fights in freakfights, while Życiński suffered his sixth defeat in the sixteenth fight.
After the victory, Marcin Wrzosek spoke to his daughter, who will soon be two years old. – Daughter, maybe someone will make a shot of this and show it to you when you're older. It's not my fault I can't date you. Daddy loves you with all his heart, said Wrzosek, and then said about Życiński. – It's a common joke that it discusses family issues. Fuck you.
What about “Don Cassio”? – Wrzosek didn't show much at all. I don't feel like a loser, but if the judges saw it that way, it's cool. Maybe I should box a little differently against such idiots. I guess the hunger for boxing and training harder must come back. Maybe a break will be good for me, he said after the fight.
