US President-elect Donald Trump has announced that he intends to appoint television producer Mark Burnett as special envoy to the UK in his new administration. Burnett has won 13 Emmy Awards.
In my opinion Donald TrumpMark Burnett not only has extensive experience in media and business, but also “has exceptional diplomatic skills and enjoys international recognition, making him the ideal candidate” for a position that should help strengthen relations between USA and Great Britain.
The new special presidential envoy will deal with issues of trade, investment and cultural exchange.
Trump praised Burnett for “creating and producing the greatest programs in the history of television.” He recalled that he was the winner of 13 Emmy Awards.
